In a small single or double light room, or a single row room you have no overlap on the long side of the reflector. This requires a special reflector, designed to give you the maximum uniformity and the least wall losses on a small surface. For this we developed the M 110 DE SR reflector.  more/less

Most reflectors rely on overlap for uniformity. This is best practice as it also guarantees the best possible horizontal penetration of your crop. As a result though, the light uniformity under a single reflector is not optimal.
The M 100 DE SR (Singe row / Small Room) is specifically designed for configurations  where you have a single, or single row of reflectors in one room. With a spread of 6ft/180 cm and a width of about 4ft/110cm it can provide you not only with high light levels but also an extremely high uniformity of over 90%! The reflector is suitable for 1000W or 750W double ended lamps and fits all our DE fixtures. 
Mammoth tents
For this reflector Gavita designed a special grow tent, the Mammoth G1 and G2 tents, for a single, or two fixtures. This professional tent was re-designed from the ground up, providing you with large passive intake, a special roof construction which brings the air outtake to the t pod the tent, a stable construction and special openings for the cabling of the Gavita Master controller. 
The size is developed for the Gavita SR reflector, providing a much better uniformity and light levels than a standard square tent. No horizontal HPS light will give you a square footprint. 
For superb quality the G1 and G2 are suitable to combine with plasma lighting. We recommend a 750W HPS fixture with two plasma lights in the G1, and two 750W fixtures with four plasma lights in the G2. This high-end combination will provide you with unsurpassed crop quality.

  • Miro aluminum reflector
    Our HR96 reflector is made of a very high grade Miro aluminum which provides optimal reflectance of light to your crop. This is the reflector of choice for horticultural growers world-wide, to provide uniform light in an overlapping plan with great plant penetration from all sides. The reflector is a medium wide reflector, providing optimal horizontal penetration of the crop. Remember: the sun is never straight above plants, they do need light at an angle for optimal penetration.
  • Replaceable reflector
    Our bracket is designed to be able to change you reflector quickly. Miro aluminum can not easily be cleaned, and when you clean it, it will never be as good as a new reflector. We recommend to change reflectors every year in a “dirty” environment (dust, foggers, sprays) or every two years in a clean environment.

Typical applications for 750W lamps are vegetative rooms, combinations with plasma lighting, smaller rooms with lower intensity and rooms with a limited distance to the crop. 
Gavita was the first to introduce a 750W double ended lamp and fixture for horticulture, increasing the efficiency of single ended 750W fixtures by about 20-30%. They are now the standard in horticultural lighting for 750W systems. 
Gavita pioneered the use of double ended lamps in this industry. These professional lamps offer you the highest output and light maintenance in the market today. Backed by decades of horticultural experience, Gavita recommends these lamps for use in her professional fixtures in horticulture. 
Our DE lamps output 15-35% more PAR light than traditional single ended lamps and have a much better light maintenance, which means that you only have to change your lamps once a year. 
The double ended construction enables the arc tube to be in stable the center of your reflector, for optimal optical placement. No more sagging heavy lamps in your reflector that destroy the throw of your fixture.  The absence of a frame wire further increases the output and uniformity. 
The  narrow lamp reduces interference with reflected light from the reflector. It is nitrogen filled instead of vacuum, allowing the arc tube to be smaller while maintaining the correct arc tube temperature. You should not use our double ended lamps in direct air cooled fixtures, as they cool under the optimal temperature, reducing the output considerable. 
The smaller arc tube results in a higher light density than single ended lamps, improving the penetration of your crop.
Higher light output results in lower infra-red output, as energy in a lamp is converted to light and heat: The more light, the less heat is generated.
